GOS' Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Simon Mears, invites you to submit your work to contribute to and advance the understanding of comprehensive treatment strategies, surgical innovations, and evidence-based rehabilitation approaches tailored to enhance the mobility and quality of life for elderly orthopaedic patients.
GOS is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that provides clinical information concerning the broad range of musculoskeletal disorders affecting the aging population. The journal focuses on the care of geriatric orthopaedic patients and their subsequent rehabilitation. Our primary readership includes orthopaedic surgeons and anesthesiologists, geriatricians, and other physicians.
Topics of interest to the journal include, but are not limited to:
Acute and critical care, adult reconstructive care, anesthesia and pain management, chronic care, complications after surgery, new care models, specific fractures, surgical techniques, and systems-based care. Please see the Aims and Scope page for further details.
