Precision Medicine

Precision medicine is one of the most exciting and promising frontiers in medicine, that tailor healthcare to individual characteristics. It holds the highest potential in the discovery, development, and application of the precision into the prevention, diagnostics, and therapeutics. The main objective of the Precision Medicine section of Clinical Pathology is to provide a platform for novel approaches, which optimize the precision of diagnosis and therapy and will allow tailoring treatments for the individual patient. This section covers all aspects of precision medicine with a particular focus on innovative and timely scientific and educational content, that provide a deeper understanding of clinically actionable genomics, personalized translational and clinical research, and recent therapeutic advances based on molecular profiling.

Novel Therapies

Clinical Pathology is particularly interested in novel therapies for diseases affecting humans. We welcome cutting-edge research focusing on novel therapies that deal with disease at the molecular and genetic level including signal transduction and cytosol trafficking. Scientists and physicians are welcome to submit work to Clinical Pathology that focuses on creative, non-traditional and problem solving-based solutions for common illnesses.
